VP Jagdeep Dhankhar Condemns Insult to Office Amidst Political Storm

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed his disdain for the insult to the Vice-President’s office a day after Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee’s mimicry sparked controversy. Dhankhar stated he doesn’t mind personal insults but won’t tolerate an affront to the Vice-President’s office. Without explicitly naming Rahul Gandhi, he questioned the values of those filming and amplifying Banerjee’s mimicry.

Dhankhar directed his remarks to Congress MP Digvijaya Singh, highlighting the silence of top Congress leaders on the issue. The BJP MPs supported Dhankhar with an hour-long standing protest in Rajya Sabha.
