RCB Criticised for Retaining Yash Dayal

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have upset many fans by keeping fast
bowler Yash Dayal for the IPL 2026 season. Even though he is facing two
criminal cases with serious charges of sexual abuse and rape, the team
chose to retain him on a ₹5 crore contract. After the IPL retention
deadline ended on November 15, 2025, people on social media began
strongly criticising the decision.
