Modi Congratulates Nitin Nabin as BJP Chief
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Nitin Nabin on his appointment as the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which he described as the largest political party in the world. Speaking at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, the Prime Minister said that Nitin Nabin would carry forward the strong traditions and legacy of the party.
Modi said the new BJP president belongs to a generation that has seen major changes in India, including economic growth, social development, and rapid technological progress. He added that this understanding of change will help the party respond better to the needs of the people.
The Prime Minister also praised Nitin Nabin’s youthful energy and long experience in party organisation. He said these qualities would be helpful not only for the party leadership but also for BJP workers at all levels.
Modi pointed out that the process of selecting the national president was fully democratic. He said that over the past several months, from the smallest units of the party to the top leadership, elections were held in a transparent and democratic way.
He added that the BJP’s leadership is rooted in tradition, strengthened by experience, and driven by a strong sense of public service and national duty. Modi said the Sangathan Parv event reflects the party’s belief in democracy, organisational discipline, and its focus on empowering party workers.
