Rahul Gandhi Slams Government Over Accountability Failure

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Tuesday strongly criticised the government following the death of a tech professional from Noida. The man lost his life after his car fell into a water-filled pit in Sector 150 of Greater Noida, raising serious concerns about public safety and civic responsibility.

Commenting on the incident, Rahul Gandhi used the term “TINA,” which he explained means “There Is No Accountability.” He said such accidents do not happen because the government lacks money or technical solutions, but because there is no accountability among authorities responsible for public safety.

The Congress leader pointed out that many urban areas suffer from poor planning, uncovered construction pits, and lack of warning signs. He said these dangers are often ignored until a tragic accident occurs.

Rahul Gandhi added that unless officials are made accountable for such safety lapses, similar incidents will continue to happen. He called for stronger responsibility and better monitoring to prevent avoidable deaths in cities.
