Five Rising Stars of IPL 2026
Every Indian Premier League (IPL) season introduces fresh talent. Many of these young players have gone on to represent India at the global stage. Players like Jasprit Bumrah, Abhishek Sharma, and Ishan Kishan are examples of how IPL has been a launchpad for cricketers.
In IPL 2026, five standout players have made their presence felt with bold performances. From Rajasthan Royals’ Vaibhav Suryavanshi to Delhi Capitals’ Sameer Rizvi, these young stars have shone in crucial moments.
Suryavanshi, a wonderkid from Bihar, has been impressive this season. After a strong 2025 IPL where he scored 252 runs at over 200 strike rate, he started 2026 with quick knocks against Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. Suryavanshi’s rise began when Delhi Capitals picked him up after his release from CSK.
Rizvi, another rising star, had limited opportunities last season but made a strong comeback this year. He scored an unbeaten 70 in a tense match against Lucknow Super Giants and followed it with a 90-run knock against Mumbai Indians under pressure.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi has been a key player for Kolkata Knight Riders as their wicketkeeper. Despite KKR’s struggles, his back-to-back half-centuries have provided stability to the batting lineup. At just 21, he is proving himself capable of handling big responsibilities.
Prince Yadav, picked by Lucknow Super Giants after impressing in domestic leagues, has shown promise with his pace and consistency. Even with competition, he has delivered crucial strikes against Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Lastly, Manish Dubey from Vidarbha has been a standout all-rounder for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Trusted to bowl in the powerplay, he has controlled runs and taken key wickets. His contributions with the bat have also helped his team cross important milestones.
