MLA Aravind Ramesh flags off the PCOS Awareness Walkathon at Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road

Chennai, September 24, 2023: Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road, took a significant step towards raising awareness about Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) by organising a PCOS Awareness Walkathon on Sunday. Mr. Aravind Ramesh, Sholinganallur MLA extended his heartfelt support to the walkathon and flagged off the event. Over 2,000 individuals, united in their commitment to raise awareness about PCOS, participated in it. Popular TV personalities Priyanka Deshpande and Alya Manasa also enthusiastically took part in the walkathon and motivated the crowd. The 4km PCOS Awareness Walkathon, which commenced at 7 a.m., witnessed enthusiastic participation from women and men of all ages from the neighbourhood, NGOs, colleges and other institutions as well as hospital employees. The walkathon was organised at the 200-Feet Radial Road in Kovilambakkam, with the participants carrying placards with slogans spreading awareness about PCOS.
