A woman employed with a multinational corporation (MNC) in Bengaluru has filed a harassment complaint against her live-in partner, prompting an investigation by the Girinagar police station. The accused, identified as Rafeeq Badshah, allegedly posed as a Hindu man named ‘Guruprasad’ on Facebook to befriend the woman, leading to the development of a romantic relationship and cohabitation.
However, the woman later uncovered his true identity as an auto driver but continued the relationship. Subsequently, the accused reportedly began harassing her, prompting her to move back to her parents’ home. The woman has also requested legal action against the accused, according to police sources.
