False Love Jihad Allegations in Bengaluru

A Bengaluru woman techie’s allegations of love jihad against her former boyfriend, a software engineer from Jammu and Kashmir, have been revealed as false by police investigations. The woman made the allegations after her boyfriend ended their relationship and got engaged to someone else. The love jihad charges were dropped, but charges of rape, cheating, and criminal intimidation will be investigated.

The woman had accused the man of forcing her to adopt Islam and exploiting her sexually under the pretext of love jihad. However, it was found that the two had broken up two years ago, and the woman fabricated the allegations due to her inability to accept her ex-boyfriend’s engagement to another woman.
