Family Members Arrested in Connection with Suicide of Woman’s Live-in Partner

Karnataka Police have arrested family members of a young woman, Ishwarya, in connection with the suicide case of her live-in partner, Manikantha. Ishwarya lodged a complaint alleging that her relatives were responsible for her partner’s death. She explained that her family opposed their relationship despite Manikantha’s family giving consent for their marriage.

Ishwarya claimed her relatives had entered their home, locked them in a room, and physically assaulted them, ultimately taking her away. Manikantha, distraught by these events, ended his life. The case was transferred to the HSR Layout police station in Bengaluru, where Ishwarya is fighting for justice and demanding punishment for her family members involved in the incident.
