Four Arrested for Murder of Man in Thiruvanmiyur

The police have apprehended four suspects, including a juvenile, in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old man identified as Dillibabu in Thiruvanmiyur. Dillibabu, a contract staff member for the Greater Chennai Corporation, was attacked by a four-member gang armed with knives while driving a battery-operated vehicle near L.B Road junction at Avvai Nagar.

The suspects, identified as Arun alias Ley (22), Vinoth (39), Naveen Raj (18), and a 17-year-old juvenile, were arrested, and four knives were seized from them. The investigation revealed that Dillibabu had a previous altercation with Arun, who, along with the others, carried out the murder as an act of revenge.
