High Security Measures for PM Modi’s Ayodhya Visit

In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya on Saturday, nearly 5,000 police personnel, including four teams of National Security Guard (NSG) commandos, will be deployed for security. The Prime Minister’s aircraft is scheduled to land at Ayodhya airport at 10.45 a.m. and depart for New Delhi around 2.15 p.m. Six companies of Central Paramilitary Forces have arrived in the temple town, and 2,000 police constables, along with 14 companies of Pradeshik Armed Constabulary (PAC), have been deployed.

Additional security includes 17 Superintendents of Police, 40 Additional SPs, 82 Circle Officers, and 90 Inspectors. A dedicated team of 75 traffic policemen is assigned for traffic control, and AI-based drones will enhance surveillance. Senior police officials have organized three super zones and 14 zones for effective security management during the high-profile visit.
