Income Tax Department Conducts Searches on DMK MP S. Jagathrakshakan’s Premises in Chennai

The Income Tax Department is currently conducting searches at the residence of S. Jagathrakshakan, former Union Minister and DMK MP representing the Arakkonam Lok Sabha constituency, in Adyar, Chennai. Simultaneous searches are taking place at other locations connected to Jagathrakshakan, including the residences of his relatives in Chennai and over 40 properties linked to him.

Additionally, searches are being carried out at a medical college in Poonamallee, another medical college near Puducherry, a hotel in T. Nagar, and a firm in Nungambakkam. Armed police personnel have been deployed at the premises undergoing searches.
