JLR Cuts Range Rover Prices in India

Jaguar Land Rover India has announced a major price reduction for its UK-imported luxury Range Rover models after new changes under the India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

The company said that the price of its premium Range Rover SV model has been reduced from ₹4.25 crore to ₹3.5 crore (ex-showroom), giving customers a benefit of up to ₹75 lakh.

Similarly, the Range Rover Sport SV has also become more affordable, with its price dropping from ₹2.75 crore to ₹2.35 crore (ex-showroom).

These revised prices are effective immediately.

According to Jaguar Land Rover India, the price cuts are possible because of reduced import duties on completely built units (CBUs) imported from the United Kingdom under the new FTA framework.

This agreement has helped lower costs for imported luxury vehicles, allowing the company to pass on the benefits directly to customers.

In addition to lower pricing, the Range Rover SV will now include SV Ultra Metallic paint options in both gloss and satin finishes as standard features.

Rajan Amba, Managing Director of JLR India, said the company is pleased to offer the advantages of the India-UK FTA to its customers.

He explained that the updated pricing reflects Jaguar Land Rover’s customer-focused strategy and its commitment to building long-term relationships with buyers.

Amba also expressed confidence that the Free Trade Agreement will make the premium SV range more accessible to luxury car buyers in India and further strengthen JLR’s growth in the Indian market.

This move is expected to increase demand for high-end Range Rover models while making luxury ownership more attractive for Indian customers.
