Money Exchange Firm Manager Robbed of ₹30 Lakh in Chennai

In Chennai, the manager of a money exchange firm was robbed of ₹30 lakh by a gang of three assailants. The victim, identified as Sakthivel, who managed his relative’s firm in Koyambedu, was transporting the cash on his motorcycle from Parry’s Corner to Koyambedu when the incident occurred.

Seven individuals on three motorcycles reportedly knocked him down near St. Andrew’s Church on E.V.R. Salai around 8:30 p.m. One of the assailants seized his cash bag, and when he attempted to resist, they brandished a weapon and escaped with the money. The Egmore police have initiated a search for the suspects.
