Navalur Fire Incident: Supermarket and Tea Shop Ravaged

In a morning blaze on Rajiv Gandhi Salai in Navalur, a supermarket and adjacent tea shop were engulfed in flames, with the fire rapidly spreading due to an LPG cylinder explosion.

Fortunately, the incident occurred on a holiday, resulting in an empty building and no casualties. Firefighters from the Siruseri fire station swiftly responded to the scene and successfully extinguished the inferno. Preliminary investigations point to an electrical short circuit as the cause of the fire, as stated by a police official.
