Principal Accused of Sexually Harassing Student in Bangalore Pre-University College

A shocking incident unfolded in a reputed Pre-University College in Bangalore, where a 40-year-old Principal allegedly sexually harassed a 16-year-old Class 11 girl student in his chamber. The incident occurred on Wednesday when the principal called the victim to discuss her internal marks. During the meeting, he reportedly assaulted her, citing his influence over internal assessment grades.

The victim resisted and promptly informed her parents, leading to the filing of a complaint with the Vyalikaval police station. The police have initiated an investigation, issuing notice to the accused under IPC section 354 (A) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
