Priyank Kharge Promises to Resign Over Recruitment Scandal

Bengaluru: Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge has strongly responded to former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy’s demand for his resignation over alleged irregularities in the recruitment of 24 Assistant Executive Engineers in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.

Kharge rejected the allegations and accused Kumaraswamy of spreading what he called “false propaganda.” He said he had nothing to hide and challenged Kumaraswamy to prove that he was personally involved in any wrongdoing.
