Protest Erupts in Karnataka as Parents Demand Action Against Teacher for Misbehavior

In Tumakuru district of Karnataka, Rantawala village in Madhugiri taluk witnessed a protest by a group of parents on Tuesday inside a school premises, demanding action against a teacher accused of misbehaving with girl students. The protestors allege that the teacher, identified as Lakshmikanth, arrived at the school in an inebriated state and engaged in inappropriate behavior with the female students.

Parents further claimed that the accused teacher had been luring girls with money, asserting acquaintance with their fathers, and subjecting them to sexual harassment. Education Department officials rushed to the scene, but encountered confrontations with protesting parents who insisted on the immediate transfer of the accused teacher and demanded prompt disciplinary action against him.
