Rajasthan Tourism Focuses on Tourist Safety Measures

Rajasthan Tourism is proactively addressing the safety concerns of tourists by organizing an online meeting to collaborate with stakeholders and formulate strategies for creating a secure environment in the state. Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary of Tourism, shared insights into an upcoming campaign that aims to raise awareness about appropriate conduct towards travelers, with a specific focus on ensuring the safety of women tourists.

The initiative includes sensitization workshops for various stakeholders in the tourism sector, such as auto-taxi drivers, souvenir shop operators, tourist guides, and safari operators. The comprehensive campaign will utilize social media platforms, theatrical plays, and ‘nukkad nataks’ to disseminate crucial information and promote responsible tourism practices.
