Swift Repair of Leaky Pipeline Under Durgabai Deshmukh Road

The Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board swiftly addressed a leaky pipeline issue under Durgabai Deshmukh Road, which was causing inconvenience to commuters. After the problem was diagnosed on April 11, repairs were promptly carried out, and the work was completed by the end of the day. Barricades were placed around the affected area during the repair process to ensure the safety of workers and passersby.

Following the repair, regular traffic movement resumed on April 12, with metal boards placed on the patched area, possibly as a temporary measure. These boards now serve as speed breakers, aiding in vehicle slowdown while negotiating the repaired section. This proactive approach highlights the commitment of authorities to swiftly address infrastructure issues for the convenience and safety of the public.
