Tamil Nadu registers 99.92% pass rate in CBSE Class 10 exams; most students gear up for second exam

Tamil Nadu has recorded a very high pass percentage of 99.92% in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 exams. This is slightly higher than last year’s result of 99.86%, showing a small but positive improvement. The results were announced on Wednesday, while the overall national pass percentage stood at 93.7%.

This year, CBSE has introduced a new system where Class 10 students can take two board exams. The aim of this change is to reduce exam pressure and give students another chance to improve their marks if they are not satisfied with their first attempt.

After the exams ended in March, many students in Tamil Nadu have decided to appear for the second exam. One of the main reasons is that some students found the Mathematics paper difficult and want another opportunity to score better marks.

Teachers and parents believe that this new system will help students feel less stressed and perform better. It also gives them more confidence, as they know they have a second chance.

Overall, the strong results and the new exam system show a positive trend in education, helping students achieve better outcomes and reducing the fear of board exams.
