TN Animal Husbandry Department launched 250 MVUs to provide services to rural areas

The Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandry Department is gearing up to launch a commendable initiative by introducing 250 mobile veterinary units (MVUs) across the state. This move aims to enhance veterinary services and reach remote areas that lack proper access to veterinary care.

The MVUs will serve as mobile clinics equipped with necessary medical equipment and trained veterinarians. By deploying these units, the Animal Husbandry Department seeks to address the healthcare needs of livestock and pets, ensuring their well-being and timely medical attention.

The introduction of MVUs signifies the government’s commitment to animal welfare and highlights the importance of veterinary services in rural and underserved regions. This initiative is expected to significantly improve the overall animal healthcare infrastructure in Tamil Nadu, benefiting farmers, pet owners, and the animal population at large.
