Total of 553 roadworks 376 have been completed remaining will be completed in the month

Out of the 553 roadworks undertaken in five northern zones of Chennai, 376 have been completed within a span of 60 days. The completed works account for 54.89 km of the allotted 86.39 km of roads. Additionally, work on 10.59 km of roads is currently in progress, and the remaining pending work is expected to be finished within a month, as confirmed by a Corporation official.

The significant progress made in completing over half of the roadworks demonstrates the concerted efforts to improve infrastructure in north Chennai. The completion of these road projects is expected to enhance connectivity and ease traffic congestion in the region.
