Ampa Skywalk, first organized retail space in Chennai was launched in a glitzy event in the city recently. A flagship project of Ampa Housing & Development Private Limited, the mall is located at the Nelson Manickam Road and boasts of every ingredient that guarantees an unbeatable shopping and entertainment experience for the people of Chennai.

The launch witnessed spectacular performances by international entertainers. International Laser Angels with dancers from Russia and Ukraine combined gymnastics and acrobatics with dance and mid boggling laser effects to create a show that encapsulated the entire mall.
Built at a cost of Rs.100 Crore, the 6.50 lakh sq. ft. Ampa Skywalk will feature an array of top-notch international and national brands on a three-level retail space of 3.50 lakh sq. ft. While 22 shops will depute on the launch day, fit-outs are happening for the rest that will open in a phased manner.
The special attraction of this mall being its exciting retail mix which include prominent brands like Star India Bazaar, Westside, Allen Solly, Rado, Benetton, Addidas and many more. Adding to this excitement PVR Cinemas - the nation's largest movie theatre circuit is all set to launch its first 7 screen digital multiplex in the city of chennai.

The mall will be the first of its kind as it would bring an ultimate experience to its movie watchers in the form of a 'Skywalk' that runs across the mall above the atrium. The skywalk which is the highlight of the mall is 80 ft above ground level; it occupies a prime place in the atrium. Connecting the ticket boxes to the theatres, the 25 meter Skywalk reflects the aspirations of shoppers.
The mall boasts of 650 seat food court with 19 different counters with 19 different cuisines. The food court is named F3 "Food, Fun, Frolic" TGI Friday, Mumbai's famous Rajdhani Thali etc. are all set to open at the food court. The mall also includes 20-room boutique hotel too which will be operated by Auromatrix Hotels.
