Indian Minister Meets Community in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia: Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh recently met members of the Indian community during his visit to Saudi Arabia. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the important role played by Indians living and working in the country.
The event was organised by the All-India Steering Committee with the support of the Indian Embassy. Members of the Indian community attended the gathering and interacted with the minister.
During the meeting, Singh appreciated the contribution of the Indian community to the strong relationship between India and Saudi Arabia. He said Indians in Saudi Arabia have played an important role in building connections between the two countries in several areas.
These areas include trade, investment, energy, education and culture. The large Indian community in Saudi Arabia has also helped strengthen people-to-people relations between the two nations.
Singh highlighted the importance of continued cooperation between India and Saudi Arabia. He noted that the relationship between the two countries has grown over the years, with both sides working together in different economic and strategic areas.
The minister also encouraged members of the Indian community to contribute to India’s development. He urged them to support the country’s growth and take part in efforts connected with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of building a progressive and developed India by 2047.
The Indian community in Saudi Arabia includes professionals, business owners, workers and students who contribute to different sectors. Their experience, skills and connections can help strengthen cooperation between India and other countries.
