Additional Suspect Arrested in Real Estate Businessman Murder Case

The Chennai city police have arrested another suspect, C. Senthil, 44, from Ramanathapuram District, in connection with the murder of real estate businessman V. Palanisamy. Palanisamy, 60, was brutally hacked to death by a gang on Gandhi Road, Velachery, on March 29.

The gang, led by prime suspect Sethupathi Pandian, allegedly murdered Palanisamy for cheating Pandian out of Rs. 50 lakh. With the recent arrest of Senthil, the total number of suspects apprehended in the case has risen to nine.
