BJP Responds to Rahul Gandhi’s “Mohabbat Ki Dukaan” Remark with Video Montage

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) responded to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s “Mohabbat ki dukaan” (shop of love) remark by sharing a 2.55-minute video montage on its official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle. The video featured a quote from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent Lok Sabha address, where he referred to the opposition as a “loot ki dukaan” (shop of loot) and criticized their actions.

The BJP’s video countered Rahul Gandhi’s statement, stating “Mohabbat dil mein milti hai, dukaan mein nahi” (love is found in the heart, not in a shop), highlighting the idea that genuine emotions cannot be bought or sold. The video also showcased the achievements of the Modi-led government, including the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and the Chandrayaan-3 mission.

Rahul Gandhi had previously used the term “Mohabbat ki dukaan” to criticize the BJP and RSS for what he saw as divisive politics.
