Two CRPF Personnel Killed in Militant Attack in Manipur

In an early morning attack, militants targeted a camp of security forces in Manipur’s Bishnupur district, resulting in the death of two CRPF personnel and injuries to two others. The attack took place at an India Reserve Battalion camp in Naranseina, Moirang police station area. The militants opened fire indiscriminately from hilltops and also hurled bombs at the camp.

The deceased were identified as CRPF SI N. Sarkar and head constable Arup Saini. Meanwhile, inspector Jadav Das and constable Aftab Das sustained splinter wounds and are undergoing treatment. A massive search operation has been launched to locate the attackers.
