Giants Win 10-5 as Ramos Hits Homer
Heliot Ramos hit a three-run homer, Logan Webb pitched six strong innings, and the San Francisco Giants defeated the Washington Nationals 10-5 on Friday night. The Giants had been struggling to score, but every player in their starting lineup got at least one hit, leading to a team total of 15 hits.
Ramos also drove in his fourth run with a bases-loaded walk in the ninth inning. In the second inning alone, the Giants scored six runs, including a three-run homer by Ramos and a two-run single by Matt Chapman. This was their highest-scoring game in months.
For the Nationals, James Wood and Daylen Lile hit homers, but they couldn’t overcome the Giants’ strong performance. Zack Littell pitched poorly for Washington, allowing eight runs on 11 hits in four innings.
The Giants will face RHP Cade Cavalli on Saturday, while the Nationals will start RHP Adrian Houser.
