Hung Verdict in Tamil Nadu: Political Moves as Vijay Struggles

Tamil Nadu’s political situation has become even more tense as Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), led by actor-politician Vijay, struggles to secure enough support to form the next government.

Although TVK emerged as a major political force in the Assembly elections, the party still does not have the majority required to take power on its own.

As political negotiations intensify, parties are now taking steps to prevent internal divisions and possible defections among their elected MLAs.

The AIADMK, one of the key parties in the state, has reportedly moved its MLAs to a resort in Puducherry for two days in an effort to keep the group united.

According to reports, a section within AIADMK wants the party leadership to support TVK in forming the government.

However, there are also strong differences within the party, with some leaders opposing any alliance or support for TVK.

To avoid possible defections or unexpected political moves, AIADMK leaders reportedly decided to isolate their MLAs in a secure location.

The situation became more controversial after reports claimed that the MLAs were moved without the direct approval of AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami.

This has raised speculation about internal disagreements and possible attempts by some members to align with TVK independently.

Earlier, the Congress party had already officially announced support for TVK’s government formation efforts, increasing pressure on other parties to decide their positions.

Political observers say Tamil Nadu is currently witnessing one of its most uncertain political periods in recent years, with alliance negotiations and internal party conflicts shaping the battle for power.

The coming days are expected to be crucial as parties continue discussions that could decide the future government of the state.
