NCW Seeks Report on Gang Rape in Haryana’s Panipat District

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has demanded a report within three days regarding the gang rape of three women in Haryana’s Panipat district by four masked armed assailants in front of their family members, including children. The victims, aged 24, 25, and 35, were sexually assaulted on September 21 when the assailants forcibly entered their house and later fled with cash and ornaments.

The police have created sketches of the suspects and announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for information about them. An investigation is ongoing, with some intelligence inputs about the accused already received, according to Superintendent of Police Ajit Singh Shekhawat.
