Parliament Security Breach: Accused Coordinated Plot on WhatsApp Group
The accused involved in the recent security breach at the Indian Parliament created a WhatsApp group with 7-8 members to plan their strategy, according to sources. The group shared the entire conspiracy to enter the Parliament building, later transitioning to the Signal app for communication. Delhi Police’s special cell is in contact with the group members and investigating the involvement of external elements.
The police are working to reissue the SIM card destroyed by the accused to access the associated email and are seeking assistance from the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) for data retrieval. The security breach occurred on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack, and the investigation involves multiple arrests and nationwide inquiries.
