Seven Terrorists Killed as BSF Stops Infiltration Attempt from Pakistan in J&K’s Samba

The Border Security Force (BSF) killed seven terrorists who tried to cross into India from Pakistan through the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. The security forces spotted the group of armed men late at night and quickly took action to stop them.

According to BSF officials, the terrorists attempted to enter Indian territory under the cover of darkness. The BSF detected their movement using night-vision equipment and immediately responded with gunfire. A fierce exchange of fire followed, during which the BSF gunned down all seven infiltrators.

“Our troops noticed suspicious movement near the international border in Samba,” said a senior BSF officer. “We challenged the intruders, and when they fired at us, we returned fire and neutralized them.”

After the encounter, the BSF searched the area and recovered weapons, ammunition, and other supplies from the bodies of the terrorists. Officials believe the group planned to carry out attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, possibly targeting civilians or security forces.

The BSF also increased security along the border following the incident. Troops launched a thorough search operation to ensure no other terrorists had crossed over. They used sniffer dogs, drones, and ground patrols to check for any signs of more infiltrators.

This incident highlights the continued threat from across the border. Security forces have reported several infiltration attempts in recent months. Pakistan-based terror groups often try to send trained fighters into India to spread violence and unrest.

Indian forces remain on high alert in border areas, especially ahead of important national events or elections. The government has praised the BSF for its quick and effective response, saying it prevented a possible terror attack.

Officials urged local residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activity. The BSF said it will continue to monitor the border closely and respond firmly to any future threats.
