Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Asserts People Won’t Vote for Modi in Upcoming Elections
DMK president and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, declared that the people of Tamil Nadu did not vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past two elections and asserted that they would not support him in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Speaking at the DMK’s youth wing conference in Salem, Stalin predicted a decisive defeat for the BJP in the upcoming elections, envisioning a government led by the Opposition’s INDIA bloc.
Stalin criticized PM Modi, accusing him of undermining states’ rights through policies like the National Education Policy, NEET, and GST. He emphasized the need for a federal government that respects states’ autonomy and works for the progress of Tamil Nadu and India. Stalin also accused the BJP of attempting to break political parties and run parallel governments in states indirectly through governors.
