TN Chief Minister inaugurated the Stephenson Road bridge

The Chief Minister of the state inaugurated the Stephenson Road bridge, which has resolved a major traffic bottleneck in Pulianthope. The project, with a budget of ₹66.83 crore, commenced on December 3, 2020, but faced delays due to the pandemic.

The newly constructed bridge is set to bring significant benefits to the residents of Perambur, Kolathur, and Thiru. Vi. Ka. Nagar. With the traffic congestion issue addressed, smoother movement of vehicles is expected in the area. Additionally, officials anticipate that the development of high-rise buildings will be facilitated on the large land parcels surrounding the bridge.

The completion of the Stephenson Road bridge marks an important milestone in infrastructure development, enhancing connectivity and easing travel for the residents of Pulianthope and neighboring areas.
