Tragic Haryana School Bus Accident Leads to Arrests and Probe
Following a devastating school bus accident in Mahendragarh, Haryana, where six children lost their lives and around 20 others were injured, police swiftly took action by arresting three individuals. Among those arrested were the school’s principal and the driver, who was allegedly intoxicated and driving recklessly at the time of the crash.
The driver’s reckless driving led to the loss of control, causing the bus to collide with a tree and overturn, resulting in the tragic incident. Police confirmed the driver’s inebriated state through a medical examination conducted at the accident site. Additionally, the school’s principal and another official were arrested in connection with the incident. The State Transport Minister has initiated a probe into the accident and instructed officials to thoroughly inspect the fitness of all school buses, emphasizing the need for stringent measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
