Two new bridges’ foundation stones were laid in Maduravoyal

Minister K.N. Nehru and Ma. Subramanian laid the foundation stone for the construction of two high-level bridges in Maduravoyal, with a total cost of ₹74.3 crore. These bridges will serve as replacements for an existing bridge that often gets submerged during the monsoon season.

The project is being funded under the Infrastructure and Facilities Fund, with a budget of ₹42.7 crore. The new bridges aim to improve connectivity and ensure safer passage for vehicles, particularly during heavy rainfall.

The construction of these high-level bridges is expected to address the flooding issues and enhance the transportation infrastructure in Maduravoyal. The project signifies a significant investment in the development of the region’s infrastructure.
