YSRCP MLA Criticizes Naidu’s Election Promises

Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has condemned N. Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP national president, for his recent pledge to increase the salaries of village and ward volunteers, labeling it as yet another election gimmick. Speaking during his campaign, Reddy accused Naidu of attempting to pacify volunteers who were barred from disbursing welfare benefits due to election regulations.

He asserted that Naidu’s promises were an insincere attempt to salvage his reputation amidst growing discontent. Reddy highlighted Naidu’s history of unfulfilled promises and accused him of exploiting public sentiment for political gain. Amidst allegations from BJP leaders, Reddy remained steadfast in his criticism of Naidu, dismissing the accusations as unfounded. Meanwhile, supporters greeted Reddy with enthusiasm, underscoring the YSRCP’s popularity in the region.
