Arrests Made for IPL Ticket Black Marketing

The Triplicane police have taken action against illegal ticket selling for an Indian Premier League (IPL) match, resulting in the arrest of eight individuals. Among those apprehended were P. Koushik of Mylapore and K. Rajeshkumar of Tiruvannamalai, along with six others.

The crackdown yielded the seizure of thirteen tickets, valued at ₹35,500, along with a sum of ₹2,950 in cash. The arrests came following the match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at the M.A. Chidambaram Cricket Stadium in Chepauk.
