Delhi Customs Committee Meeting Strengthens Stakeholder Confidence
The Customs Clearance Facilitation Committee held a meeting today in New Delhi to build confidence among stakeholders. The meeting was led by the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Delhi Zone.
The Finance Ministry said the meeting brought together government agencies such as FSSAI, Plant Quarantine, and the Drug Controller, along with trade associations.
During the discussions, both sides talked about recent policy changes and digital initiatives introduced by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs. These initiatives focus on improving the implementation process within the Delhi Customs Zone.
The stakeholders also raised important operational issues, which were discussed constructively. The meeting resulted in actionable decisions aimed at making customs processes easier and more efficient.
