PM Modi Thanks BRICS Leaders for Successful Delhi Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked the leaders of all BRICS member countries for their participation and support in making the recent Delhi summit productive and successful. India hosted the important two-day meeting on September 12 and 13, bringing together leaders from several major countries.

After the summit, PM Modi shared a video on his social media accounts showing important moments from the event. The video highlighted meetings, discussions, and other key activities involving the participating leaders.

In his message, PM Modi said the summit helped India strengthen its friendship, partnerships, and cooperation with other BRICS countries. He thanked the leaders for their contribution and said their participation helped make the event successful.

The summit was attended by several prominent world leaders. Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese leader Xi Jinping, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian were among the major participants. Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also attended the event.

Other leaders who took part included Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., and Ugandan Vice President Jessica Alupo.

The Delhi summit brought together representatives from 11 BRICS member countries, along with leaders from 10 partner nations and officials from various international organisations. Their participation provided an opportunity to discuss issues related to international cooperation, economic development, trade, and global challenges.

Alongside the main summit meetings, PM Modi also held several bilateral discussions with visiting leaders. He conducted 15 separate one-on-one meetings during the summit. These meetings gave India an opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest and strengthen relations with different countries.

The summit was seen as an important platform for India to engage with emerging economies and strengthen cooperation among BRICS members and partner countries. The participation of leaders from different regions also highlighted the growing importance of the group in international affairs.

By hosting the summit in Delhi, India once again placed its diplomatic and economic partnerships at the centre of important global discussions. PM Modi’s message of friendship and cooperation reflected India’s effort to build stronger relationships with BRICS members and other partner nations.
