The Mahaperiyava Organic Farmer Producers Company Limited (MOFPCL) introduces in Chennai its chemical-free, unadulterated, and organically produced milk and milk products, and household provisions, under the brand name of “Mahaperiyava.”
Chennai, 2021 – Driven solely by the concern for the consumers’ health, the Mahaperiyava Organic Farmer Producers Company Limited (MOFPCL) is launching its brand of chemical-free and organically manufactured products, under the brand name of “Mahaperiyava” from today (February 04, 2021).
Speaking on the occasion, the President and Managing Director of MOFPCL, Mr. Harikumar Subramaniam said that the company gives importance to the economic betterment of the producers, and that it shall provide all the Backward Linkages and infrastructure facilities in order to improve the producers’ wellbeing, and for improving the productivity and quality of the products.
As far as the dairy-based products are concerned, all arrangements have been made to provide good quality milk, clarified butter, butter, Paneer and other such products to the consumers in Chennai through 40 distributors all over the city. In order to nurture the health and wellbeing of the consumers, arrangements have been taken to supply 5000 litres of organically produced milk and milk products, in the initial phase.
Speaking further, he said that drumstick has become a very prominent health food in recent times. He added that steps are being taken to sign up Memorandum of Understanding with various companies that are involved in large-scale manufacturing of these, to produce and distribute drumstick leaf powder and Capsules that improve the body’s natural resistance to illnesses.
He also said that the company had made a landmark development in procuring latex from rubber manufacturers and making high quality rubber sheets from them by adding stabilizing agents.
In the next Financial Year, the Mahaperiyava Organic Farmer Producers Company Limited intends to add 3500 manufacturers to the company, and raise its annual turnover to Rs. 100 crores, he said. He further added that the initial phase of the inauguration was held in Chennai today, and that nearly one lakh consumers are expected to benefit from it.
