Aga Khan V Starts His India Trip

Aga Khan V is visiting India from September 9 to September 15 at the invitation of Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan. During his week-long visit, he is scheduled to meet several senior Indian leaders and discuss areas of mutual interest.

On the first day of his visit, Aga Khan V will hold talks with Vice President Radhakrishnan. The meeting is expected to cover areas of cooperation and the long-standing relationship between India and the Aga Khan Network.

During his stay, Aga Khan V is also scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These meetings are expected to focus on issues of common interest and ways to further strengthen cooperation between India and the Aga Khan Network.

He will also meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. Discussions with senior government officials are expected to include development, social welfare and other areas where the Aga Khan Network has been active.

The Aga Khan Network has been involved in several development activities in India. Its work covers areas such as education, healthcare, rural development, cultural preservation and improving the quality of life in communities.
