ED Raids Bengaluru in Crypto Money Laundering Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches on Monday at several places in Bengaluru. The raids were linked to a money laundering case connected to cryptocurrency.

The searches included properties connected to the sons of N. A. Haris, a Congress MLA from Karnataka. His sons, Mohammed Haris Nalapad and Omar Farook Nalapad, were among those whose locations were searched.

The ED also raided places linked to Srikrishna Ramesh, also known as Sriki, who is suspected to be involved in cryptocurrency hacking activities.

In total, around 12 locations were searched by the agency. These actions are part of an ongoing investigation into money laundering, where officials believe that illegal earnings were made through cryptocurrency transactions and then hidden or transferred through different channels.

The investigation is still in progress, and authorities are working to find out more details about the case and the people involved.
