Elon Musk Applauds Indian-American Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy

Renowned entrepreneur Elon Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday to express his support for Indian-American Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, labeling him a “promising candidate.” Musk shared a video interview of Ramaswamy with political commentator Tucker Carlson and praised his potential.

Ramaswamy, a 38-year-old tech entrepreneur, entered the Republican presidential nomination race in February, positioning himself as an outsider. He currently holds the third spot in popularity rankings, trailing behind former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

With 9% party support, Ramaswamy has strong stances, advocating for “complete decoupling” from China due to perceived threats. He has also pledged to swiftly pardon Trump if elected and has garnered praise from the former President. Ramaswamy is gearing up for the Republican national convention in July 2024, aiming for the party’s presidential nomination.
