Gang Throws Country-Made Bomb at Restaurant in Kilambakkam

A gang attacked a restaurant owned by a 62-year-old political functionary in Kilambakkam, throwing a country-made bomb and causing panic in the area. The restaurant, belonging to M. Muthupandi, an Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam functionary, was targeted around 4:30 a.m. while Muthupandi and his wife Mary were inside preparing food.

The explosion damaged a banner above the iron gate, but no injuries were reported. The police have launched an investigation into the incident, reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the culprits. So far, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
