MTC Buses to Halt at Nanganallur Metro Rail Station Bus Stop

Commuters using the Nanganallur Metro Rail station on GST Road have been facing inconvenience due to buses skipping the bus stop right next to it. Despite the proximity to the Metro station, buses bound for interior parts of Nanganallur and Pazhavanthangal do not halt here. This forces commuters to take long walks or rely on expensive autorickshaws to reach the Metro station.

Responding to these concerns, a senior official of the MTC has stated that bus stops near Metro Rail stations have been relocated closer. However, crews sometimes skip designated bus stops. To address this issue, MTC has decided that buses will now halt at the Nanganallur bus stop starting from the coming week.
