Windergy India 2023 to Begin on October 4 in Chennai with Danish Delegation

The Windergy India 2023 summit, a three-day event, will commence on October 4 at the Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam. The event will host a significant delegation from Denmark, highlighting the Indo-Danish energy partnership and the strong relationship between the two countries.

Denmark’s renewable energy capacity of 2.3 gigawatts positions it as a renewable energy exporter, and the summit will focus on the wind energy sector’s evolution, including advanced generation technology and local manufacturing of key components such as gearboxes and generator blades.

The event also aims to explore opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the wind energy sector through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC).
