Too Busy or Tired to Exercise? Stay Consistent

Exercise is important for overall health, and experts agree that staying active is crucial for everyone. The World Health Organization recommends adults get at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week, like brisk walking, or 75 minutes of more intense activity, such as running.

As life gets busier and people age, it can become harder to find time and energy for exercise. Balancing work, family, and other responsibilities often leaves little room for physical activity. Plus, feeling tired after a long day makes it even tougher to motivate oneself to workout.

However, small changes can make a big difference. Even short workouts or simple activities like walking, stretching, or doing household chores can help. The key is to stay consistent and find ways to fit exercise into your daily routine, no matter how busy or tired you feel.
