Armed Suspect Robs Indian-Origin Store Owner in Virginia

Police in Virginia, USA, are searching for an armed suspect who robbed a store owned by an Indian-origin man. The robbery took place at Shyamal Patel’s Smokies Lounge smoke shop on Woods Edge Road at around 5 a.m. The masked suspect pointed a gun at the clerk, demanding cash, before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.

Patel revealed that his store had been robbed at gunpoint earlier this year in April by two armed men who were subsequently arrested. He suspects the recent robber may be a former employee who exhibited a noticeable limp, similar to his previous appearance on store security footage.

Despite Patel’s speculation, the suspect’s identity has not been released by the police. Patel has increased security measures, adding more cameras and implementing a new security system.
